Ku-ring-gai Council - Bush Tucker Workshop with John Lennis

John Lennis is an indigenous Consultant with his company Earth Spirit Indigenous Services. He specialises in bush tucker, interpretive walks and Aboriginal culture. John's workshop will include a presentation on bush tucker followed by an interpretive walk in the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden. Come along and be educated, inspired and entertained.

Bushfood feast - Australian Museum

On Saturday, May 22, 2010, Thullii Bush Tucker Catering will provide a variety of Bush Tucker foods to taste. The menu will provide sweet and savoury finger foods including kangaroo, emu and crocodile meats, cakes made from emu eggs and the display of bush tucker herbs, spices, jams, sauces, chutneys.

The Australian Museum is in Sydney. This would be an awesome event to have a look at. I'd particularly like to taste cakes made from emu eggs ... I wonder whence one can source them? (I can hear the chorus of "NO, you are not running emus on your property" already).
