I said I wasn't going to be reflective but a reason for this sudden burst of energy might be handy.
1. I've had some time off between jobs to try and get ... get ..
Sorry ... a satin bowerbird family just dropped into the verandah to visit. We often get the olive green stripey juveniles hanging around in large groups, but that's actually the first time I've seen the deep rich satiny blue male. Moved too fast to get a photo though. Where was I?
1. ... try and get motivated/relaxed/caught up. The last 12 months have been hectic to the max, quite a lot of it not so nice, and keeping up with the needs of a large property with kitchen gardens went slightly by the wayside.
Besides, I didn't like my job anyway.
2. For years I've had Google alerts scouring the web, newsgroups, etc, bringing me relevant snippets of information. The idea always was that I'd post it to my blog but somehow, it just never happened. Combine #1 with #2, and there's going to be a rather sudden burst of energy as I actually start reposting some of the backlog.
3. Typepad has all sorts of useful new little tricks and toys which makes the information in #2 really, really easy to put up on one's blog.
So the next week or so might actually be a bit of a flood after the drought of most of this blog's life. It'll amuse me, anyway.
