On Saturday, May 22, 2010, Thullii Bush Tucker Catering will provide a variety of Bush Tucker foods to taste. The menu will provide sweet and savoury finger foods including kangaroo, emu and crocodile meats, cakes made from emu eggs and the display of bush tucker herbs, spices, jams, sauces, chutneys.
The Australian Museum is in Sydney. This would be an awesome event to have a look at. I'd particularly like to taste cakes made from emu eggs ... I wonder whence one can source them? (I can hear the chorus of "NO, you are not running emus on your property" already).
Do check out Thullii as well. They have an online shop where they seem to be reselling a good range of native food products from a range of suppliers. There's a physical shop in Michinbury (NSW) also.
